Overbite
In this case, the upper teeth are angled forwards.

This occurs when the mouth is too small for the teeth to line up straight.

Vampire teeth
This is also due to the number of teeth exceeding space in the mouth. In this case the canine (third from the middle) end up in a higher position and look like vampire fangs.

This is when there is a gap between the two front teeth.

In young children, some of the conditions listed above risk causing bone deformity in the face, so the earlier it is treated, the better.
These issues are often overlooked by regular dentists, so it's important that parents regularly check the teeth of children over 3 years old.
